An honest comparison

XOsign vs Google Workspace

The short answer: Google Workspace gives you excellent tools to write, store and meet. XOsign reads every paper your business already has, connects them, and has the next thing ready: the reminder, the date on your calendar, the document to sign. Use them side by side, and move over when you’re ready.

The difference

  • It reads every paper once

Contracts, invoices, statements and meeting notes are read once and connected, so XO can answer “what did we agree?” with the page that proves it.

  • The next thing is ready

A deadline in a contract lands on your calendar. A payment term becomes a reminder. You don’t copy facts from one app to another.

  • Every paper files itself

No folders to build. Each document is filed by client, person and project, and search reads what’s inside.

  • Signing is free on every plan

Send anything for signature from the document itself, with no limit and a record anyone can check. Signers need no account.

  • Know where every copy went

Every download, print and attachment is on record, so a leaked page leads back to where it came from.

  • More than one company, one account

Run each of your businesses from one sign-in, each with its own papers.

Questions

Do I have to leave Google Workspace to use XOsign?
No. Most businesses start by bringing a few papers into XOsign and keep using Google for everything else. Move an app over only when it does the job better for you.
Doesn’t Google Workspace already do e-signatures?
Yes. Google offers eSignature in Docs and PDFs on Business Standard and higher plans, once an admin turns it on (support.google.com/docs/answer/12315692, checked October 2026). In XOsign, signing is free on every plan, including the free one, and the signed document is read and filed with everything else.
Is XOsign affiliated with Google?
No. Google Workspace is a trademark of Google, and XOsign is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by it. Everything on this page about XOsign is built today; everything about Google Workspace comes from Google’s own public pages and is dated.

XOsign provides AI-assisted document tools and does not provide legal advice. Explanations, translations, and suggestions are aids to your own understanding — not a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney.

Competitor names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. XOsign is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any company mentioned on this page. Every statement about another vendor is drawn from that vendor's own public pages and is dated in our source file; features and prices change, so check the vendor's page for the current answer.
