A document usually has more people around it than people signing it. XOsign lets you say what each person is there to do.
- Signer — the ordinary case. They sign their fields.
- Approver — they have to say yes before it moves on, but they don’t sign.
- In-person host — you have the signer in front of you and hand them the device to sign on.
- Receives a copy — they get the finished document and it is recorded that they were sent it.
You set the role next to each person’s name when you add them, and you can combine roles with an order so approval happens before signing.
Every role is recorded in the audit trail, so “who approved this” has an answer later.
